Agatized Sea Shell (Gastropod)

Beautiful banding in this agatized fossil gastropod shells sourced from Morocco. Each gastropod is unique and variations range from small crystal cavities to rich fortification lines and varying colors of agate within the whorls of the shell. Gastropods are unique because they are a fossil completely replaced with calcedony. A rare find on the market! The outside displays some of the shells original structure.
