6 unopened geodes from a variety of locations and available in different sizes. In this bag you will receive the following:
1 Moroccan geode (small white to translucent quartz crystals; sourced from Morocco.) 1 Las Choyas coconut geode (Many different types of crystals can be found inside including clear quartz, smokey quartz and on a lucky occasion Amethyst. Sourced from Mexico) 1 Trancas geode (Usually display ribbons of white and translucent chalcedony with potential for druzy crystalline centers. They often flouresce under short wave UV light due to trace uranium content. Sourced from Mexico) 1 Chocolate geode (somewhat similar to Trancas with potential for druzy crystalline centers with rims often brown like chocolate to cream/brown which creates contrast with the center! Sourced from Mexico.) 1 Sonora River geode (These are easy to distinguish by their pink exterior. Interiors vary from druzy to intricate crystal points and color variations are possible. These have the potential to florecense under short wave UV light.) 1 candy geodes (small green skin hollow geodes most of the time containing druzy and crystal points)
This set of 6 geodes comes in a cotton or canvas bag. Last photo and video is an example of what insides of these geodes might look like.
Measurements for each geode bags sizes (small, medium and large) are as follows:
Moroccan geode size small (3 inches), medium (3 - 4 inches) and large (4 1/2 - 6 inches) Las Choyas geode size small (1 1/2 - 2 inches), medium (2 - 3 inches) and large (3 - 3 1/2 inches) Trancas geode size small (1 1/2 - 2 inches), medium (2 - 3 inches) and large (3 - 4 inches) Chocolate geode size small (1 - 2 inches), medium (2 - 2 1/2 inches) and large (2 - 3 inches) Sonora River geode size small (1 1/2 - 2 inches), medium (2 - 3 inches) and large (3 - 4 inches) Candy geode size small (1 - 1 1/2 inches), medium (1 1/2 - 2 inches) and large (2 - 3 inches)
Cracking Geodes is fun but can be dangerous with flying shards of rock than can hit you. Wear eye protection! I have heard of people using an old sock and putting the geode inside of it to keep the shards of rock more contained when hitting the geode with a hammer.
