Polished Lucky Strike Thunder Egg Pair

Thunder egg pair from Lucky Strike mine in the Ochocos mountains of Oregon. Personally dug this myself and cut and polished in my shop. Width is 3" and height is 3". Interesting pattern that has a mix of moss, water lines and smoky gray/blue agate.

Thunder eggs are nodule-like rock, similar to a filled geode, that are formed within rhyolitic volcanic ash layers and no two are alike. Thunder eggs are the Oregon state rock and personal favorite of mine.
