Polished Thunder Egg half

Thunder egg half sourced from Mc-Dermitt Nevada (79 Bed). Cut and polished in my shop. Width is 3-1/8" and height is 3". Beautiful light blue center with orange moss.

Thunder eggs are nodule-like rock, similar to a filled geode, that are formed within rhyolitic volcanic ash layers and no two are alike. Thunder eggs are the Oregon state rock and personal favorite of mine.
